J.Newry is one of the most influential up and coming gospel artists to bring forth the power of Jesus to a chosen generation. He began his musical career playing the piano and directing choirs in the Albany, New York area. It was in the church that he discovered his love of playing and composing Gospel music. From there he joined the Friendship Baptist Church in Schenectady, NY and became committed to utilizing and perfecting his gift to glorify God. To date J. Newry has played for numerous churches in the Capital District Area of New York State and receives many requests to play for various functions and events. His list of accomplishments include; teaching and directing an original composition to a 200 voice choir for the New York State Empire Baptist Congress of Christian Education Retreat at age 17, becoming a credited producer for Andante Productions, and providing accompaniment for diverse artists such as, Jerome Kyles, Dave Hollister and Trizanna Beverly just to name a few. Presently Justin is a student at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts where he is majoring in Professional Music. He is currently employed by the Morning Star Baptist Church, Mattapan, Massachusetts as the pianist. God has truly blessed Justin as a musician and continues to bestow His blessings on him.
