New York, NY - July 8, 2008 - Less Than Jake will broadcast their July 12, 2008 concert from The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie, NY live on the Internet courtesy of the free broadcasting platform offered by Woozyfly.com and the efforts of the Woozyfly Productions team. The evening promises a whirlwind of activity, from fan interviews, to backstage shenanigans, exclusive band interviews and finally the rocking live performance from Less Than Jake. The live broadcast will run from 8PM to Midnight EST on both Woozyfly.com and event partner AbsolutePunk.net. "Less Than Jake will be a great edition to Woozyfly.com's catalogue of artists. They're a time-tested act recognized worldwide for their Ska sound and energetic live performances. The Poughkeepsie show is part of the Shout It Loud II Tour, featuring the first live performances from Less Than Jake's new album, 'GNV FLA.' The album is the band's first release comprised of all new material since Less Than Jake bid farewell to the majors and launched their own label Sleep It Off Records. The musical stylings are a throwback to the earlier days with the raw sound and energy that gained Less Than Jake notoriety over a decade ago.
